This one of the labels we made for our energy drink. we added dark colors to it and a bold, big title to catch the buyers eye. I added a dark misty background to the labeling to make it look mysterious to the buyers and also draws them in. The color of the drink will be dark looking color like coca cola but with a tint of purple with a black grape after taste and welcoming energy taste. The slogan is 'Burst with ENERGY!' and that means once you've drunken a bottle of this you will have complete energy for the whole day for whatever your doing. Also, the words 'burst' and 'energy' are in capital letters as there the mean words to the product and to also get into your head drink this if you want to be energized for the whole day.

The name of the product is in modern day writing as its more aimed at today's teenagers and is bold, big and clear to read and understand. The price is 1 pound and may drop over year when new flavors are produced and there out selling the original flavor.

It will have that normal energy drink taste but with a flavored black grape after taste and the drink will look dark looking but with a hint of purple.
It would be hitting all stores throughout the country at the main price of £1 and can versions will be later released.
I found 5 different possible fonts for our groups product which is a energy more aimed for the younger generation.
These 5 different designs for the label is a concept and more maybe created.
I would say either the second font or the last one would be best. As the second ones got that long clear name with a bit wearing  away effect.
The last one i like the bubble type writing as its eye catching and u can fill it on with color to catch the buyers eye.
The others are just spare if the chosen font doesn't look right.
There all different in there own way  like size, look , style etc.

Library Introduction

Couple weeks back we had a library induction showing us the library and what we can do with it. In the library it is split off into smaller librarys and ones for one thing and the other for another. We can take out books and dvds using our lanyard and print stuff out using it too. The computers can also be used for any amount of time.

Photography

22nd September 2015
In this photo it has clear source of rule of thirds as its directly in the middle of the page and also it has crop at a bit of the photo has been cropped but still fills the whole page.

The first half of the lesson we went through different types on photos in photography such as; Rule of thirds, Framing, cropping, leading lines, deep depth, shallow depth

Rule of thirds states than an photograph is most pleasing when its subjects or regions are composed along imaginary lines which divide the image into thirds — both vertically and horizontally.

Cropping -Often a photo will lack impact because the main subject is so small it becomes lost among the clutter of its surroundings. By cropping tight around the subject you eliminate the background "noise", ensuring the subject gets the viewers attention.

This photo has clear view of background as its focused on the main guy pretty well and in a busy background too.
Its not as focused on the background people as it is on the guy sliding

Background- The human eye is excellent at distinguishing between different elements in a scene, whereas a camera has a tendency to flatten the foreground and background, and this can often ruin an otherwise great photo.

Thankfully this problem is usually easy to overcome at the time of shooting - look around for a plain and unobtrusive background and compose your shot so that it doesn't distract or detract from the subject.

Filming Groups

Today in the first session we were broken off into groups of 3 for film production and my group was Sam and Yasmin and they both had certain skills to bring to the group to help with creating a advert.
To start off with Sam can act so he can be infront of the camera, i like too direct and use the camera and Yasmin can do bring the props needed. Then we did Yasmin as the director behind the camera filming us and me and Sam the actors infront of the camera we can bring props needed and dont mind being infront of a camera.

Image result for babys ice creamThis is the first advert we watched and its called 'little babys ice cream', its a weird Japanese advert made couple years back for baby ice cream in japan. The advert is of the man smothering ice cream all over himself with his eyes wide open staring into the camera with a weird look on his face occasionally eating it off the spoon.

The second advert we watched was of the playstation 3 advert back in 2006.This is another weird Japanese advert but is only created to promote the PS3. The advert is really bizarre due to the baby doll featured in it starts to cry and can see the TV feflection in its eyes. Also, when it zooms in on its eyes as its crying i find it quite weird.
This third advert was a ad for a german drink but the advert looks quite ancient and spooky.
I dont know why they added such a dark, creepy setting to a drink but it might put some people off buying it.

In our group this is our brain storm of ideas before we thought of making a energy drink we thought of different foods like sushi, bread etc and then objects such as phone or clothes. Then we thought of a energy drink and called it Energe and the slogan 'burst with energy'. We had to think of a dark, mysterious background setting for the ad and think of something that would go with it.

Photoshop Ghostly Images

In todays lesson we used Photoshop and used a variety of tools on the software to create them like the Lasso tool which we use to cut out the images. Also there's the Blur tool to add extra effect to make it more ghostly and creepy,  you can make it transparent to make it look even better.
You also use the free transform tool to minimize and maximize the image and even tilt at different angles etc. I feel more confident then i did at the start of the lesson and have gained more knowledge on Photoshop.

In the first image you can see a strong case of gaussian blur on both figures and on the closest figure it has been slightly tilted.

Added a image of a blurred little girl to add affect with the kid bike.

This image is similar to the first one with blur detail but the different background picture.

Using the tools on the Photoshop software to enhance a image if easy to do and pick up after couple go's.

We also used Ctrl-T free transform tool to change image size and length.

This picture has a lot of blurred figures in it to add effect.
Also a bit of transparent to make it look real ghostly and to make it look better with the environment its in.
